The Row Wyng is a 60' boom mounted on a 3 point 300 gallon carrier or on several styles of spray trailers. The 300 gallon tank is a new "T" tank design that allows the boom sprayer to be carried closer to the tractor. The result is the ability to use more efficient, smaller tractors in the 90-100 hp range without fear of overloading the tractor. In order to operate the boom at high speeds while maintaining the integrity of the boom requires a suspension that cushions the motion of the boom. The Row Wyng features a torsion spring cushioned parallel linkage that controls a portion of the bouncing motion as the boom travels across rough terrain. The parallel linkage also adjusts the height of the boom allowing the boom to be set and maintained level by the 3 point hitch. The boom itself is mounted on a trapezoidal suspension that permits the boom to be self-leveling and minimize any roll motion. The Row Wyng ag sprayer was designed to be very adaptable in many situations. Farmers in hilly and terraced fields needed a boom that could tilt one wing. Producers with trees and other obstructions required the ability to fold one wing while still spraying with the other. The Row Wyng incorporates both of these features with a unique twist. The complete sprayer is operated on two hydraulic circuits; one for the pump and another for all the lift, tilt and fold functions. These multiple functions are made possible by an electric over hydraulic control that is operated by either a joystick or toggle switch box. Any tractor that has a traditional hydraulic lever can use the joy stick. Newer style tractors with the console controls will use the toggle switch box. The Row Wyng is also equipped with an auto-reset air shock breakaway that protects the boom if an obstruction is hit. The Row Wyng is loaded with user friendly features that make it a complete sprayer such as a 50 gallon fresh water tank, and optional foam marker, "Quick Fill" valve, self-cleaning line strainer and diaphragm nozzle bodies. The Row Wyng can be equipped with an Ace centrifugal pump as well as a Raven automatic controller.
