Corporate Marketing Manager - Lubbock, TX

Wylie & Son, Inc., Corporate Offices in Lubbock, TX, is seeking a Corporate Marketing Manager.  This person will promote all aspects of Wylie & Son, Inc.’s business to customers, employees, and communities through advertising, news releases, direct mail, web presence, social media, retail equipment shows and communication media.  This person will Manage all Company Advertising; Determine placement of advertising in available medias; Profile customers to define their operations and propensity to purchase; Capture competitive sales in the Wylie & Son, Inc. market share and aggressively campaign future business; Strategize and establish procedure to secure and maintain customer’s current email addresses; Communicate the customer database capabilities to management. Promote All Aspects of the Company’s Business – Work with Department Managers to plan and execute Product, Parts and Service promotions. Help develop plans for and execute Seasonal Promotions: Whole goods clearance & yearend inventory reduction sales; Service Uptime & Winter Service packages; Parts Yearend & Pre-Season sales. Work with Store Managers to plan and execute local and regional Farm Shows & Field Days Work with Store & Department Managers to plan and execute Product and Service Clinics Manage all Coop Advertising activities & Employee and Public Relations. Negotiate with media outlets to fulfill Wylie & Son, Inc.’s marketing plans. Purchasing authorization needed to fulfill Wylie & Son, Inc.’s marketing plans. Other nonspecific authority necessary to completely manage the above responsibilities.  A Minimum of three years-experience working in a marketing related field preferably with an organization related to the manufacture or distribution of farm equipment. A working knowledge of desktop productivity and publication software and social media. Experience in negotiating vendor contracts. Strong interpersonal, instruction, communication and delegation skills are essential; Organizational, verbal and writing skills commensurate with requirements. College Degree applicable to Marketing; Physical Requirements office environment.
